FIBA coaching course to be held in Accra

Accra - The GBBA and GABBA in collaboration with FIBA Afriq is scheduled to hold a 10 day FIBA modulo 1 coaching course for young people who have not gone through any coaching training whatsoever. The course which is scheduled to take palce from the 5th to the 14th of November will be facilitated by Mr. Lancinet Keita Kabassan, a FIBA instructor from Guinea assisted by coach Lawal Perigrino Brimah, head of the coaches association and also the head coach of 10 time league champions, CEPS. Participants are to pay a fee of GHC 25 to cover cost of course materials and handouts.

According to the letter the GABBA sent out to the various teams, any interested person should contact the secretary(Mr. Prosper Agbletey) and register with him as soon as possible.

Theophilus Mensah is a Ghanaian basketball documentarian who has followed the game in Ghana for close to a decade. He travels across the counrty documenting all aspects of basketball culture in Ghana. His work was recently featured in Roads and Kingdoms.
