Eight gone, Two to go!
The Runhose-Hoops project might be having its most successful year so far since it started about three years ago with the successful export of Daniel Armah to Casper College. Fresh news on runhouse.net today read:The 8th student/athlete on the Runhouse-Hoops Project has officially arrived in Wichita, Kansas today. Lawrence Fejokwu will be prepping for college at one of the top programs in the country. This poised 6′ 9″ forward is ready for a big year and is willing to put in the work to ready himself for college.
We know Fejokwu is an excellent shot blocker and rebounder. He also has proven to be a very good low post player on the offensive side with a good array of moves and shots.
During a short two month stay in Ghana, Lawrence featured for Cap Coast Hoops in a couple of pre-season games before going back to Nigeria;his home country. He was mainly known for his rebounding and shot blocking abilities mostly makes use of the height advantage he had over other kids.
Thanks for the update on our ongoing Project. We have been working hard on both sides of the pond to keep our pipeline full of quality student/athletes. Most of the players are Ghanian such as Daniel Armah, Chris Angsomwine, Atsu Athipka, Reggie Agbeko. We also have some Nigerians and Liberians in as well.
ReplyDeleteWe are currently looking for student/athletes for next year as we have 5 high schools that have contacted us for players. We also have some top D1 junior colleges looking for players.
If any player thinks he has what it takes please contact Claude Thompson of Cape Coast Hoops and lets see what you have.
Much thanks to Claude Thompson and the Legendary Meme for helping the project along and being the eyes and ears for talent on that side.
