Day 9
C.E.P.S, Tema Youth meet in finale.

Game 1 Police vs Tema Youth
Let's be real, there was too much controversy surrounding this game. Police had to start the game without their coach because everybody thought it was a 3pm game, which actually started at 2pm. Technical fouls given to the Police bench for utterances towards the referees and then the ejection of Dickson, Police' best player from the game for also complaining about a referee's call. But with all these, the game went on any way. Mc Martey led TY with 10 rebounds and a block on the defense on a day that didn't see Eben Borsah hit any trey. It wasn't an easy game for Tema Youth as many saw it to be as Police matched them point for point throughout the game. But then all the talking and exchange of bitter words didn't help the beauty of the game. It got to a time I actually got bored watching, the only thing that drew my mind back to the game were TY's Enoch and Selasie's dunks in the third and fourth quarters. TY won 76-70

Game 2 Hoops vs CEPS
Everybody was looking forward to a replay of that epic encounter during the regular season. it turned out CEPS had corrected their wrongs while Hoops' guys just went home to take naps. CEPS led throughout the entire game, finish the first quarter with 18 points to Hoops' 8. CEPS as a tean didn't even perform very well with Dodzie finishing with a mere 3 of 9 from three point range. But Richard Darko was my man for the day getting a game high 4 blocks and still putting up some the performance we've seen him play in a while. Sky Walker's threes are beginning to look like a fluke after he finished with 1 of 4(remember the game he knocked down three in a row?) The game begun to look a done deal for CEPS with 43 seconds left in the second Q when Hoops started showing signs of accepting defeat. They didn't finish with class as DC Dynamics coach, Feranmi will put it. They didn't finish the fight. It's the second worst game I've seen them play after their Togo trip. Then came Hoops' second most demoralizing moment of this year's tourney; CEPS' captain , PAPA gets the ball and chants "hoops on fire" for them to step up on the defense because the defense was clearly non existent. Hoops seriously will need to work on their defense and team work to be able to survive as a team next season; all the teams are watching them play this badly and taking notes. Another disappointing one sided game , CEPS win 77-56.
