December 2011, Hoops Care International sent five girls from Ghana to the Hope for Girls Africa Basketball Camp in Lagos, Nigeria. There, a partnership was established to bring the vision of H4G to Ghana.
In this regard, 40 girls from four selected junior high schools in Cape Coast have been invited to take part in HCI's first ever all girls basketball clinic. The event comes off this Saturday, June 30 at the Hoops Care Basketball Court, Victoria Park in Cape Coast.
The girls will be taken through basketball drills, team work and mentoring stations on the day. The clinic starts at 8am and will be closed by midday.
