TEMA YOUTH VS MAGICTEMA YOUTH DOMINATE MAGIC

CONTROL. That was what Tema Youth had in the their game against the magicians of Tudu. These two teams have a rivalry that dates back to when the both played in the then Junior league before entering the D1 slot of the GABA's GABL. Thanks to the TY coach, this young high flying team from the harbour city have improved way more than their magic counterparts.

TY dominated from tip off to the blast of the closing whistle, hand Magic a 14 point deficit in the first quarter alone. Magic tried to fix their flaws and played hard through out the game(two of their players even fouled in the process) to no avail. But one thing was clear on the day. TY was the more organized team, their PGs were calling plays and the team run the plays to precision. TY also made good use of their jumping abilities i.e grabbing rebounds on both ends of the floor. A mach up that used to be anyone's game is gradually becoming TYs...Magic need to step up.

WARRIORS VS LIONS

Theophilus Mensah is a Ghanaian basketball documentarian who has followed the game in Ghana for close to a decade. He travels across the counrty documenting all aspects of basketball culture in Ghana. His work was recently featured in Roads and Kingdoms.
