OHENE DJAN SPORTS STADIUM, ACCRA - The Ghana Basketball Association today held its national congress to elect a new set of executives after the previous board was dissolved. The congress saw in attendance representatives from all regions apart from the Eastern region, reps from GUNSA, GHAPSA, SESSA, the coaches' association, the wheelchair association and the referees' association.

The congress was an eventful one with a lot of concerns being raised about different subjects of interests by delegates. The newly elected president of the association, speaking on behalf of the new executive promised to work together with all stakeholders to make basketball a force to reckon with in Ghana sports.

LEBANON HOUSE - The women's version of the GABL commenced yesterday. Eight teams are competing in the WGABL which will be running for the next eleven weeks. Below is a list of the competing teams.
