The 2013 elite players of the Dynasty Basketball Association were quests at OrphanAid Africa yesterday. The visit was as part of activities planned by Dynasty's Heart to give back to the community.

The trip involved a tour of the facilities at the orphanage, a basketball clinic for about 35 kids, and talks on the importance of education, hard, faith and hope. The day then ended with refreshments for the kids and donations of clothes, sneakers and food.

In an interview with Isaac Robert Kwapong, head of the DBA, he mentioned that this trip was the beginning of Dynasty's effort to give back. He also stated that this is part of Dynasty's efforts to develop valuable people; people who will be more than basketball players and know the importance of giving back and putting smiles on the faces of the less privileged. ''I was very impressed with the young players ability to relate freely with their hosts and make basketball fun for them to learn'', he added.

Archibald Afriyie, head of sports at OrphanAid was all smiles and thanked the entire group for the visit and gifts and urged them to come back more frequently to help them(OrphanAid) with their basketball program.
